Ear Cleaning and Earwax Removal Fees

Each appointment includes an ear assessment, consultation, and earwax removal treatment where required.

• Occasionally, additional appointments may be required due to the level of blockage; your nurse will notify you during the appointment and discuss associated fees. 

• *The follow-up fee applies only to eligible patients who have been pre-approved by their Ear Nurse based on clinical need. It does not apply to routine appointments.

Payment Information

• Payment is required at the time of the appointment.
• Accepted methods: EFTPOS, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX or cheque
  • Note: Diners Club & American Express not accepted
  • EFTPOS payments will incur a 1.20% surcharge fee
• Over-the-phone payments are available. If you are unable to pay by card or cheque, please advise us when booking.

Non-Wax or Blockage Scenarios

• If no ear wax or other outer ear blockage is found, but you continue to experience a blocked sensation or other ear symptoms, your ear nurse will examine your ears, discuss the findings, provide advice, and recommend the most appropriate next steps. As ear wax removal treatment is not required, an examination and consultation fee will apply.

• If, during an appointment, the nurse determines that it is not safe to continue treatment because a child or patient is unable to remain still or cooperate with the procedure, treatment may be stopped. Your ear nurse will explain the reason, provide advice on preparing for a future appointment or any recommended follow-up. As the appointment includes an examination and clinical assessment, an examination and consultation fee will apply.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• Cancellation fees apply for late cancellations or non-attendance (less than 4 hours notice)
